similar, but not identical

ordered these Simple clogs when husband's old pair was worn to the nub. He likes the new pair, they look nice. The upper is not one single piece of leather, there is an exterior seam on the medial side of the instep, but he says doesn't notice it. They are too new to comment on insole durability yet. They do look nice.
They are great

They are different than I remember with the soles being thicker than before. Still new, so not sure if that is better or worse. So happy to have these available again, comfy, perfect slip on-slip off shoes.
Just Love Them

I just bought a new pair of these for around the house. My new ones become my slippers for inside and my old ones are for going outside for quick, short trips. They do stretch and become loose over time but there are very durable.
Please make these in women sizes.

I purchased this style of shoe many years ago in women size 8.5 and I LOVE them. I thought I would try the smallest size you had in men's hoping it would fit since many size charts showed men size 7 is equal to women size 8.5. I just received them on 9/13/16 and they were too wide and a little too big. I am so sad they did not work. Now I have to send them back and pay for the shipping so I lose out twice. I purchased a pair of Hallie Black shoes last year and I liked them, but not as much as the Mesa style. Please bring this style back in women sizes I would buy every color available. Other than being disappointed that I can't buy this style of shoe, I really like Simple products they are very well made.
Glad to have them back

I wore my original Simple clogs for years and years until worn down to the nub and my family forced me to get rid of them. I was sad I would never get wear them again. Every once in a while I would do a search to see if by chance a pair had shown up in a warehouse somewhere, and this time was excited to see that they're back in business! Glad to have you back, Simple!

These are my fourth pair of these shoes over the years. I bought these after having my last pair for at least ten years. My old pair have actually just started to fall apart.
The new pair I've had for about two months now. And at first I loved them. Some slight differences between the old and new, but I was happy to have them back.
This new pair however, is not quite the same quality. I wear these everyday and I rarely wear socks with them (as I did with the old pair). The inner soles have separated from the shoe and slide up now every time I have them on for more than a couple minutes. I have to take them off and straighten them out, repeatedly. It's annoying. It's disappointing because the old version of these shoes, the inner soles never moved over all the years that I've owned them. I think they were actually sewn down whereas this new pair is just glued....lightly.
I admit, I might be tougher on these than other people simply because I wear them everyday, but they are just not the same quality as their predecessors. It's a good start, but for a ~ $100 they should hold up longer than a couple months.
I've missed you!

Great to see you all bring Simple back!
My first pair of these lasted from about 1995-2010. My second pair got eaten by our (then) puppy. Excited to see how this 3rd pair does. Breaking in well so far

One of the reviews says the fabric foot bed is no more. Mine is indeed fabric lined and I love that it still is. I was a little sad when I saw that had changed. My Simple's are identical in every way to my old ones with the exception of one seem on the leather upper (whereas it used to be all one piece of leather.) It doesn't really detract from the shoe though. I didn't even notice it at first.
I've held onto my cherished simple clogs all this time hesitant to get rid of them because I loved them so much. They have holes in them and are falling apart after 6 years, but I couldn't part with them.
Now, after all this time, my favorite shoes are back. I have simple clogs on my feet again and all is right with the world.
Thank you, Simple.
Hooray! Simple Clogs are Back!

I'd owned several pair of Simple Clogs "back in the day" and was so sad when I finally had to part with my last pair. I'm thrilled that they are back and better than before!
The old style (to the best of my fading memory) had a fabric lined footbed which was comfy but not so durable. But the new leather footbed feels great, is already conforming to my feet, and will no doubt be more durable.
Welcome back, Simple!
at long last

these were the shoes i chose with the kickstarter program. wearing these shoes are like no others that i have, and i have a lot of shoes. all others have been put aside. and these are the only shoes i have worn since receiving them. to say they are comfortable is an understatement. long live simple shoes, looking forward to the women's line in 2016.
