Barney - Leather

I'm in Canada and I know until recently, Simple didn't ship to Canada so I was excited when I found out they started to, in early December. I spent some time and looked at what I wanted to order first - being that the winter is here, I went with a pair of Barneys. Typically, I order size 47EU and decided that 13US would be the right size for me. Well, Simple, according to the tracking info I received, was very responsive in shipping - what came next was a let down. The package got to Jamaica, NY fairly quickly, then sat there for quite some time. Once released from there, it sat at Canadian processing for a couple days then it was off to my postal outlet. Ordered Dec 9th and received Jan 5th. Upon receipt, I had to pay $60CDN in duty ($120USD purchase price) - overall, fairly priced when compared to other shoes I've bought. Now, onto my experience with them - have worn them a few times and they are my favourite shoes! Right out of the box comfort and the quality really has me believing that they will only get better with age. I am sold on this company now - only wish the shoes were made on this side of the Atlantic, but that's for another day - I have enough of a hard time finding comfortable shoes that at this stage, I'll take it from wherever they are made. Will be ordering more as Simple is now my goto!

I still have my Barney’s from the 90s. They’re awesome. Hoping you bring back the suede.

Its winter here so I've not written them much, but love the style, they feel great so far!

Love the style and durability. Took just one wearing to break in. I've been a Simple wearer since the early 90s and have always been satisfied. However, this style (and the suede version) isn't always available - I'd recommend making it a more regularly available style.

Super comfortable! Look great. Seem to be super well made. Consistent quality with other simple shoes I’ve owned over the years. Highly recommended!
